At Dua Academy, we are offering a unique combination of Islamic &amp; Modern education with major focus on <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Emotional Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence and Character Building.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Vision<\/h4>\n<p>Our vision is to impart quality education to all children irrespective of their family backgrounds, as well as emphatically induct moral values and good character amongst the children.<\/p>\n<h4>Mission<\/h4>\n<p>The school aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum and has high expectations of all its pupils. There is a strong emphasis on achieving high standards in all subject areas with co-curricular activities. Everyone in the school knows exactly what he or she is required to do on a daily basis in order to meet the institutional goals and objectives. This speaks to performance on every level.<\/p>\n<p>We have a healthy, safe and nurturing environment. We uphold a zero tolerance policy for violence, bullying, drugs, alcohol, offensive weapons, stealing, and gang behavior. We emphasize positive character traits, such as; respect, honesty, hard work, self-discipline, fairness and caring, rewarding such behavior.<\/p>\n<p>We focus on professional development for teachers. This includes mentoring, delegation of tasks and additional responsibilities and formal in-house or external professional development courses. Teachers are accountable for their performance.<\/p>\n<p>Nazra Quran Education with Tajweed is must for every Muslim student. TPI method is being used to improve Arabic accent. Teaching of Ahadith and their implementation in our daily life is a part of the core curriculum.<\/p>\n<p>We use Technology (A\/V aids) in the classroom for effective teaching and learning. Computer and Science labs are also being used from ECED level.<\/p>\n<p>Remedial classes are arranged to cater to individual differences. So, being trustworthy is not enough \u2014 we must also be caring.
